Our company is an award-winning Financial Planning firm in Ascot and we are looking for an Associate Adviser to join our team.

 So here's what the job entails... 

  • Managing the advice process beginning to end and will be working closely with our Adviser, outsourced paraplanners and the rest of our support team 

  • Sitting in meetings with our Adviser to get to know clients and the way we provide advice so you can start building your own client base in 1-2 years 

  • Developing advice and strategies for new and existing clients that are mainly high-income professionals, pre-retirees and retirees that are wanting to make the most of their money. 

  • Xtools+, Wealthsolver and Risk Researcher experience (or similar) required 

  • Advice scope includes goals-based planning, investing, superannuation, cashflow, tax strategies, entities and structures, debt strategies and estate planning. 

  • Attending and assisting Adviser in client meetings including preparing all file notes

  • Attending new business meetings and preparing strategy as well as advice submission to Paraplanner

  • Assisting in the onboarding of new clients

  • Assisting in the preparation of strategies and research

  • Liaising with paraplanning to ensure our advice process is efficient and compliant

  • Reviewing Statements of Advice and Records of Advice

  • Reviewing paperwork and approving implementation tasks 

  • Training our support team 

  • Communicating with clients to ensure they're getting a world-class client experience 

  • Collaborating with our advice partners across legal, accounting and mortgage broking to manage the client's financial strategy.

Requirements 

To be a fit for the role, you must: 

  • Have a minimum 3 years’ experience in paraplanning / financial advice 

  • Have great character - that means you're a person of integrity and substance 

  • Have a compatible mindset to ours – that means you don’t live to work and value work/life balance, but you take great pride in your work 

  • Be process and system driven. You constantly seek ways to improve and are able to easily adapt to the use of new technology 

  • Be willing to embrace our culture of innovation

  • Have awesome time management skills and be great at prioritising 

  • Have great technical skills
